What do you think about a cupcake with diamonds or gold? Does it sound weird to you? Maybe not for the rich people. If you are very sure that you could afford to buy some of them, maybe you want to have a look at them. Don't know where to search for them? Don't worry! We have the three most expensive cupcakes posted!

Decadence d’Or – US$750
You might ask whether this is a cupcake or a fancy trophy. Yes, this is a cupcake. Infact, it is the world's third most expensive cupcake. You can tell it is very expensive when you look at it's ornamentation. It is named Decadence d’Or by Pastry Chef Long Nguyen. You can find this cupacake at Las Vegas' Palazzo Resort, United States of America. What's in/on it? Edible gold flakes, gold-vanilla caviar, a Louis XIII de Remy Martin Cognac bottled around 1900 and Palmira Single Estate Chocolate.

Diamond cupcake by Mervis – US$30,000
'Cute' might be the word to describe this cupcake. But look at the price, dear readers. This cupcake is created by Mervis Diamond Importers. These classy cupcakes are well-decorated with diamonds. Yes, you read it right. DIAMONDS. It is made as a showcase in the 2009 wedding season. Each cupcake included a single, 2-carat asscher cut diamond surrounded by eight brilliant cut diamonds. Clearly the cupcakes weren’t bad enough for your teeth without the diamonds.

JROX diamond cupcake – US$150,000
It is created to mark the three-day Glam in the City fashion event in Glasgow, Scotland. This very very expensive cupcake is sparkling with gems from ROX luxury jewelers. This fabulous diamond dessert is a result of the collaboration of Cupcake Glasgow with ROX Jewelries. This fashion event is fronted by fashion consultant Gok Wan, runs from June 18th to June 20th, 2010.
